To provide the Services, Loqui Auris needs to learn certain personal information about you. Loqui Auris may collect information about you when you interact with our Site, including information that you voluntarily provide when you use the Services, register and create an account for any of the Services, including when you build your OMNI, add or update your account information, submit an inquiry, sign up to Loqui Auris’ community to receive our newsletter, log into the Site and/or use the Services from one or more of your devices, including when you communicate with your own and/or other OMNIs within your orbit, or otherwise interact with the Services. Information that we collect may depend on how you interact with the Site and use the Services. A description of the types of information we may collect is described in detail below.
Automated technologies or interactions. As you navigate around the Site (whether or not you have created or have logged into a user account) and/or use the Services, we may collect certain information using various technologies to help us personalize your experience. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, time zone setting and location, language preferences, device type and ID, and other technical information from the devices you use to access our Services.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and other tracking technology to recognize your browser or device and to capture and remember certain information about your activities on our Site. For example, cookies gather information about how long you spend on a web page so that we can understand what web pages are of interest to users. If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off cookies by adjusting your browser settings. If you turn off your cookies, some of the features of the Site may not function properly.
Analytics. We use third party analytics providers such as Google Analytics to assist us in better understanding how users use our Services and to optimize our Services and user experience. These providers collect usage data, including IP address and usage data, such as the length of time a user spends on a page, the pages a user visits, and the websites a user visits before and after visiting our Site. In addition to reporting usage statistics, Google Analytics can also be used to help show more relevant ads on Google properties (like Google Search) and across the web. For more information on Google Analytics, visit Google's Privacy and Terms. You can access the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser Add-on. You can also opt out of advertising cookies using the Google Ad Settings.
We may receive information about you from third parties including payment service providers. We may associate this information with the other information we have collected about you as described in this Privacy Policy. The collection, use, and disclosure of information received from third parties may be governed by the third parties' privacy policies. Please carefully review these third-party privacy policies before submitting your information to a third-party application or otherwise interacting with it to understand how your information may be collected, used, and disclosed by these third parties. We have no control over and cannot and do not assume responsibility for the data collection and privacy practices of these third parties or their services.
Third Party Service Providers. We collect information from service providers including payment processors, email service providers, website hosting platforms, and analytics providers.
Third Party Advertising Partners. We collect information received from third party advertising partners, including partners who host and manage various online advertisements and ad platforms. This may be combined with the website analytics data described above.
Third Party Login Service. When you create an account using your Apple or Google login we receive Personal Informationfrom those third parties, which may include your name and email.
Social Media Providers. Users may choose to connect their accounts to third-party social media platforms (for example, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube) to the Services. If you enable a connection, the applicable platform may share certain information with us in accordance with your settings on that platform and its privacy policy.
Our primary purpose for collecting your information is to provide you with the services you request. We may also use your information for the following purposes:
Service Providers. We may use third-party service providers to perform certain business services and may disclose your information to such service providers as needed for them to perform these business services. Service providers include, but are not limited to, hosting and cloud storage services, account authentication and user verification services, geolocation, billing and accounting services, payment processors services, communication services, AI and large language model providers (identified by name in the "Third-Party AI Service Providers" section below), digital asset management services, marketing, promotional and email services, texting software as a service, financial data as a service, customer and technical support services, chatbot and online messaging services, analytic services, quality assurance testing, and back-office support services.
Loqui Auris is an AI-powered voice companion. To provide our core Services — voice conversations, image understanding and generation, video generation, text-to-speech, and personalized responses drawn from information you have shared with your OMNI — we send certain categories of your information to the third-party artificial intelligence providers identified below. We disclose these providers by name, what we send to each, and why, so you can make an informed decision about your use of the Services.
OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.). We send your voice audio and/or transcribed speech, text messages and conversation history, images you share for analysis, personal information stored in your knowledge base (such as your interests, calendar events, goals, and other AI Input as described above) that is relevant to your request, and prompts for image generation, to OpenAI to power real-time voice conversation, speech-to-text transcription, text-to-speech voice synthesis, image analysis, image generation, and to generate conversational responses. OpenAI is our primary AI provider.
Anthropic PBC. For certain conversational features, we may send your text messages, conversation history, and relevant personal information from your knowledge base to Anthropic to generate conversational responses using Anthropic's Claude models.
xAI Corp. For certain premium voice features, we may send your voice audio and conversation context to xAI to power real-time voice conversation using xAI's Grok models.
AtlasCloud. When you request AI-generated images or videos, we send your text prompts, and where applicable images you provide for editing, to AtlasCloud to generate the requested image or video content.
Cartesia, Inc. For certain voice features, we send text to Cartesia to be converted into synthesized speech audio.
Local, On-Device Processing. Some text-to-speech voice synthesis is performed using self-hosted, open-source models (including Piper and XTTS) running on our own servers. In these cases, your data is not transmitted to any third-party AI company — it is processed entirely within Loqui Auris' own infrastructure.
Your Own AI Provider Keys ("Bring Your Own Key"). If you choose to connect your own API key for a third-party AI provider (currently supported: Replicate, FAL, and Stability AI) in your account settings, image or video generation requests you make using that provider's models will be sent to that provider using your own credentials. This is an optional feature that you must affirmatively enable; if you do not add your own key, we do not send your information to these providers.
Each of these providers processes the information we send in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to review. We select service providers that we believe maintain data protection practices consistent with the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We may add, remove, or change our AI service providers from time to time as our Services evolve; the current list is maintained in this Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review periodically.
reCAPTCHA. We use the Google reCAPTCHA tool to protect our Site from various types of abusive processing attempts. In order for this tool to work, reCAPTCHA analyzes various information that it collects from each visitor, which may include the IP address, mouse movements, length of stay, and other information gathered by Google. By using reCAPTCHA, this data is sent to Google and used to determine whether the visitor is a natural person or an abusive automated program (e.g. bot). You can find more information about reCAPTCHA at https://www.google.com/recaptcha. All information captured by the Google reCAPTCHA tool is subject to Google’s Terms and Privacy Policy.
Internal Third Parties. We may share your information with our parent, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, successors, predecessors, assigns, licensees, or business partners, and others who may use the information for the purposes described above.
Business Transactions. We may do business with third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then your information may be transferred to the new owners who may use your information in the same way as set out in this Privacy Policy.
Legal Process. Subject to applicable law, we may disclose information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law, regulation or legal process, such as a subpoena; (ii) in response to requests by government entities, such as law enforcement authorities; (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical, financial, or other harm, injury, or loss; or (iv) for the purposes of cooperation with law enforcement agencies' and/or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual unlawful activity.
User Disclosures. You acknowledge that your profile information, including your OMNI will always be public and visible to other users. You further acknowledge that some personal information is disclosed as a matter of course as a result of your use of our Services. You can choose what information you share with different people using your privacy settings. Any personal information shared via any shared or public forum using our Services, such as when sharing posts or content on your feed, or when sharing your experience on another website (such as Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram or X) may become public information. Please consider carefully who you interact with and how you conduct yourself, and make sure your available privacy settings reflect your preferences. You should exercise caution when disclosing information in these areas, especially your location data, and be careful how you disclose your personal information. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OF PRIVACY OR OTHER HARM RESULTING FROM YOUR OWN VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION IN SHARED AND PUBLIC FORUMS.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain the security and integrity of the Services.
Conversations With Loqui. Conversations you have with Loqui are ephemeral by default. A conversation you have not saved remains available in your account for fourteen (14) days after your most recent activity in it. Returning to a conversation restarts that period. If you save a conversation, it is retained until you choose to delete it. When an unsaved conversation reaches the end of that period, it is removed from your active conversation history and placed in the deleted items area of your account, where you may restore it or delete it permanently. This automatic process applies only to your conversations with Loqui; it does not apply to messages you exchange with other people through the Services, which are retained until you or the other participant deletes them. Conversations that predate the introduction of this practice are not subject to it.
Information Saved to Your Knowledge Base. Information that you or Loqui has saved to your personal knowledge base is retained independently of the conversation it came from, and is not removed when a conversation is deleted or reaches the end of the period described above. You may review, edit, and delete knowledge base entries at any time in your account settings.
Deleting Your Information. You may delete individual conversations, images, and knowledge base entries at any time within the Services. You may delete your account and the information associated with it at any time by using the account deletion option in your account settings or by visiting https://loquiauris.ai/delete-account. Following account deletion, we remove or de-identify your information, except where we are required to retain it to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Certain information may persist for a limited period in routine backups, from which it is deleted in the ordinary course.
Changes to Retention Periods. We may change these retention periods as the Services evolve. The periods described above reflect our current practice as of the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
If you choose to connect your Google Account to the Services, Loqui Auris will request your permission to access certain Google user data through Google's APIs. This section describes what we access, how we use it, and the limits that apply to that use. Connecting your Google Account is an optional feature that you must affirmatively enable; if you do not connect your Google Account, we do not access any Google user data. With respect to Google user data, the terms of this section control over any other statement in this Privacy Policy.
What We Access and Why. With your consent, we request access to the following, solely to provide voice-assistant features that you explicitly initiate:
How We Use and Protect Google User Data. Google user data is accessed only when you explicitly request a feature that requires it, is processed in-memory to fulfill your request (including generating spoken summaries and responses), and is not stored on our servers beyond the active session, except for the encrypted authentication tokens needed to maintain your connection. Google user data is never sold, is never used for advertising or ad personalization, is never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes, and is never used to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Where limited processing by our AI service providers is required to fulfill your specific request (for example, generating a spoken summary of an email you asked about), that processing is performed solely to provide the feature you requested and remains subject to the restrictions in this section.
Transfers of Google User Data. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features that you request, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will provide you prior notice and the recipient will remain subject to these same restrictions). Humans do not read your Google user data except with your explicit consent, where necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Disconnecting Your Google Account. You may disconnect your Google Account at any time in your account settings within the Services, which revokes our access and deletes the associated authentication tokens. You may also revoke Loqui Auris' access at any time through your Google Account security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Limited Use Disclosure. Loqui Auris' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Depending on your marketing settings and preferences, we may use your information to let you know about our products, services and offers or other initiatives that may be of interest to you and we may contact you to do so by email or text. Additional information about these marketing activities, including options for opting out are described below.
Email. We may send you emails concerning our products and services, as well as those of third parties. You may opt-out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in a promotional email. This opt out will not apply to operational or informational emails related to your account such as correspondence providing information about your purchases or other such communications for which we have a legal obligation to inform you and/or to prevent fraud or harm to our Site, our business, and/or third parties. You may continue to receive promotional email messages for a short period while we process your request.
Text Messaging. We may send you marketing or other promotional text messages to the extent that you have provided the appropriate opt-in consent. Standard text messaging charges applied by your cell phone carrier will apply to text messages we send. Your agreement to receive promotional texts is not a condition of any purchase or service. You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message your receive from us. You may continue to receive text messages for a short period while we process your request, and you may also receive text messages confirming the receipt of your opt-out request.
Push Notification. Where you have chosen at a device level to begin or continue receiving push notifications from us, we may send you push notifications relating to our products, services, offers and other marketing initiatives. You can choose to stop receiving push notifications from us at any time by changing your preferences on your mobile device.
The Services are intended for users aged eighteen (18) and older. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), you are not authorized to provide us with any personally identifying information, nor access or use our Services in any manner whatsoever. By using the Services, you represent that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
By accessing and using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that the Services are intended for use by users located in the United States of America. Unless expressly stated to the contrary, we make no representation that the Services are appropriate or will be available for use in other locations.
Your California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who have provided personally identifiable information to us or our third-party advertisers and marketing partners, if any, to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personally identifiable information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. Requests should be submitted via email to [email protected] and should include CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS in the subject line. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the requirements of Section 1798.83 and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year.
Your 'Do Not Track' Browser Setting. Some web browsers incorporate a Do Not Track ("DNT") feature that signals to the websites that you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Our Site may not respond to DNT signals. We may allow certain third-party advertising partners to place tracking technology, such as cookies and pixels on our Services. This technology allows us and/or third-parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites.
